My first week of rejoining.
My weigh in this morning: 14 stone 11 pounds.
I would like to get to 10 stone but just going to take it a week at a time.
Feeling positive and determined.

Hi Karenjnks,
You've created a stand alone post, rather than reply to wa2un7 on the weigh-in post, this should help to remind you how to healthunlocked.com/weight-l...
I started seriously changing my eating and exercising in my late 50's and even a stone off and you see a difference both in terms of energy and clothes . My knees used to ache too . I would combine mindful eating with exercise - walking , swimming and my crazy fat burner = Zumba which is great for meeting people and for all ages / sizes . I had a crazy goal and actually my body wouldn't look that great with a super slim drawn face at my age so I lost 18kg and was so proud of what I looked like I didn't want to shed any more and found I was sticking at this too without punishment and the odd treat / day off . I am now about 6kg heavier than the 18kg I lost but I still find this acceptable following surgery . I will start exercise and drop a few bad habits but maybe over 4 stone might need a rethink ?
Good luck i will hopefully see you on the weigh in...
