Exercise has many benefits but for weight loss we need to make changes to what we eat. You don't mention what plan you will be following: maybe you'd find this simple one useful phcuk.org/wp-content/upload...
Hello Sinai, welcome to the forum, there is always a lot of support from the community on here, so you've come to the right place. My partner had a hip replacement a few years back and he was very happy with it, so I hope yours goes well too when you get it. Looking forward to hearing about your progress, all the best to you!
Hey hey Sinai!👋. I had to have mine done when I was 35 & now I'm 57 & getting the plastic lining replaced. It's a wonderful life once the pain is gone. I grew up hating winter. Good luck on everything. My 🙏 & thoughts are with you.
Oh & btw, I found this recommended by YT on my channel. Gonna try it tomorrow.
Brilliant you are addressing this as when I lost 18kg - now trying to maintain my knees and general joints improved. Mentally - confidence and nicer clothes / more interest . If you have this medical condition I would seek advice from professional as so exercise can do more harm than good . Primarily - meal plan , cook fresh , portion size and a realistic- if you do this calorie intake. I do 3 meals , try no snacking and nothing after 7ish pm except water or hot basic drink - fruit tea -great . I am 62 , 5ft 1 and try to keep to around 1450-1500 cals with moderate exercise . This is working long term . I wouldn’t set such ambitious weight loss - can be frustrating if you have a bad week . I only weigh once a week too .
Small changes bring good results … keep going 🌈
HI, the key to weight control is keeping your insulin levels down and as insulin is inflammatory not causing insulin peaks is quite likely to help your hip problem so that you may find thatyou don't need a replacement. Keeping insulin levels down is a matter of avoiding foods with a high GI like bread and wheat based products, fruit juice and refined sugar.
