Hi Lena00 and welcome to this amazing forum. Here you will find lots of different approaches to weight loss including Keto.

I suggest you spend some time clicking about to find your way around. It's easier if you have a lap-top as there are several threads. If you’re using another device I strongly suggest that you use the web page as opposed to the app at least until you know your way around.

Have a good read of the pinned post “Welcome Newbies” and follow every thread.

Here’s the link to the pinned posts,

Here’s the link for the “Tour” of the forum. If you haven’t already taken it.

I strongly suggest you read and contribute to the Daily Diary and participate in a Weekly Weigh in.

You will find there's loads of tips about better eating including Keto from other members. Sharing your daily menu not only helps you stay committed, it can help other members too.

Good luck I hope to "see " you around.

Hi, you'll find plenty of members who follow a low carb, high fat plan, not so many who stick with the keto level of carbs (i.e. fewer than 20gms per day) except for an initial few weeks, to get started. The Daily Diary is the place to see what people are eating.

I too have just joined Diet Doctor first month free and then about 10.00 per month there after can cancel any time. But....... I have just been looking at daily diary on here and copying others who’s are on LCHF and trying it that way. I am finding diet dr site a bit trying as I am not that tech savvy.I must say I have been a member on here for a while and not done very well but that is purely my own fault. Looking at some of the lovely people on here they have done amazingly well and lost oodles of stones let alone pounds....

Hopefully hear more from you in the coming days, good luck Meryl20 🥗

I strongly suggest you read and contribute to the Daily Diary as there's a lot to be learned there. Especially meal plans, Keto , LCHF, NHS 12 Day Plan,Intermittent Fasting and Real-Food-Lifestyle.

How about using the Daily Diary? You'll find loads of people to share ideas with. As I've said above, though, keto is a very low carb level and very restrictive so most members here move on to a more liberal low carb plan

Thats a good weight loss, how long have you been on LCHF,? its a great incentive to carry on,do you do your own food plans or are you getting inspiration from other sources ?

Oh I’m using these free recipes right now drive.google.com/file/d/198... But i’m thinking about buying a diet plan as well because I want to do everything Tip Top this time and loose this weight for good. But does anyone know how is the “coming back to normal” from Keto? Can you switch to low carb diet after it and not gain weight?

Agree with Bridgegirl--you don't need to pay anyone anything to do keto, just keep your carbs under 30 grams a day. STRICT, no cheating, no cheat days. There are tons of free and really tasty recipes online, even for desserts. Check out: alldayidreamaboutfood.com/

Also, remember, keep protein lowish too. Keto is a high fat diet. When in doubt, ditch the carb, eat more fat. It isn't hard, except to wrap your mind around.

One more tip: if you really want to lose weight, consider adding a bit of fasting to your keto plan. By that I mean, stretching your window at night. I skip breakfast and start my morning with tea (sweetened w/monkfruit) and try not to have anything caloric until at least eleven. That's a HUGE mug of coffee loaded with heavy cream, that stretches my (modified :o) fast even further.

You can play with it, but it's a great weight loss technique.

Sorry - couldn’t do a controlling weight loss plan . I eat very broadly and watch portions . Exercise also helps . My weight is now stable at 62kg and I am happy with what I have achieved through what I call my 3 meals no snacks /for life programme . When we used to eat out with my son the limited choice of where we could eat because of his food restrictions made me choose a liberal approach which works for me but food is an individual choice . What annoys me most is the money made by companies who give free advice for a hefty monthly fee preying on the vulnerability of normal individuals .
