Hello everyone. I started my weight loss journey again yesterday. I am desperate to lose 2.5 stone but am depressed and finding motivation hard. I've been trying to get an appointment at gp to get some medication for depression but it seems the NHS is now only a coronavirus service. Anyway, I am going to try.
My starting weight yesterday was 12st 4
Today my weight is 12st 3.75.
My first goal would be to get under 12st.
My ultimate goal would be 10st .
I walk my cocker spaniel most days (sometimes my son wants to take her out). We walk 1-3 miles.
I would love to get tips, advice or even a kick up the rear end to motivate me.

Hi Yoyolass and welcome back to this amazing forum. I suggest you spend some time clicking about to find your way around. It's easier if you have a lap-top as there are several threads. If you’re using another device I strongly suggest that you use the web page as opposed to the app at least until you know your way around.
As you've mentioned your current weight and goals I was wondering if you would like to join today's weigh in.
Here's the link to the "Super Sunday Slimmers" just click on the link and reply to your host Misswizzes.
I strongly suggest you read and contribute to the Daily Diary and participate in a Weekly Weigh in.
You will find there's loads of tips about better eating, from other members. Sharing your daily menu not only helps you stay committed, it can help other members too.
Somehow the combination of being desperate to lose weight but then saying you have no motivation seems a little strange. I realise that depression can make doing anything at all difficult but have you at least managed to decide on your plan to lose the weight. It's much easier to provide tips and advice if we know what it is that you're working at.
From your screen name, it suggests that you might have tried many diets in the past.
You have come to the right place, for awesome support and information....and, added motivation.
I would recommend setting yourself some small goals to start with, and like SofaJockey suggests, take one day at a time...this way, you might find it less daunting.
After all, what most of us want, is a new lifestyle, rather than a 'diet.'
