Having felt like my weight loss was a bit wishy washy recently, I tried to be really good this week, and despite having a takeaway for a family birthday, I ate really well and exercised 5 times.. it works! Lost 2.8lbs in this week to lead me to where I am now - 12st13lbs!
My first goal is 12st so this is a big thing for me!

Whooo whoo well done you
It's so good to see that first number on the scales go down isn't it?
would love you to join the Saturday weigh in - we are nearly the same weight I an a lb lighter but been here for a few weeks, just can't shift it downwards at the mo
Yep, our body fluctuates and we need to remember that. Joining the weekly weigh in does help keep you focused and allows you to meet new people who will egg you on and support you when things seem more difficult.
Maybe have a read of today's one first and get a feel as to how people get on
I started at 14st 3lb and now down to 12st 12lb so need to get back to it properly, but I am now on hols for two weeks, so who knows, as long as I don't go back to the 13;s I will be happy
Well done you! I am struggling to get back in the 12's too....I got to 12st 6lbs and then felt quite trim and stopped making the effort....result was weight crept back up over 13 stones again. I currently keeping losing and regaining the same 2 pounds - was 13st 2lbs again this morning. Not the weight I intended on "maintaining" so must make more effort. Have exercised more this week, and had some sensible meals..so it is still portion control and snacking (even on grapes, if too many) that I have to watch. Hope to join you back in the 12's soon!
It's strange how our minds play tricks like that. I know when I hit my maintenance weight I shortly put on weight and have had quite a mental battle to knock it back and keep it level.
Fairly certain I wouldn't have done it without this forum.
It's the fact that both of you are keeping going, is why you'll both achieve your goals.
