I'm hearing it differently.
Besides her selling her work (that's almost commonplace on youtube now. For the most part I just ignore that bit), I'm hearing it from an evolutionary point of view and hear her saying it's human nature to crave food the way that we do because of our ancestor's original environment.
We are wired for survival so we needed to crave food that way to stay alive.
Fast forward to modern-day and we crave food in the same ways as our ancestors did.. only now we're not going to die of starvation.
Those cravings ensured we ate to stay alive but now our environment has changed and food has become plentiful and constantly available to us. And it's this availability to food (among other things mentioned in the video) that is causing obesity.
Those cravings no longer serve our survival but it's important to understand where they are coming from so that we can adapt/evolve accordingly.
