So I was diagnosed with PCOS last month and my doctor told me to lose weight, and was all the help I got.
Since I have been trying to eat healthier and do more exercises however I don’t look at my Calories intake and only my lose in calories while I exercise. The reason for this, is when I start to look at the numbers I start to overthink and panic, then end up not eating for the day and the next. Which I know makes my weight loss journey harder.
What I’m asking is do you guys have any tips for me to help but without looking at the numbers.

Hello, nice to meet you ! I get confused with calories too, have you considered low carb? You don't need to count anything.

We've found active participation to be key to successful weight loss and, of course, it's a good way to get to know people, find inspiration and share support and encouragement.
Not looking at your "calories" is a very good start. Many people have precisely the same reaction to calorie-counting/caloric restriction that you did: it makes you paranoid and obsessive.
Eat proper food. That's all you need to do. Becoming overweight requires eating a very specific diet, and if you stop doing that you'll lose weight.
The "That" I'm referring to is typical British fare: bread/sandwiches; pasta, rice or potato with a sauce on top; cereals for breakfast; cakes, cookies and crisps when we feel peckish; and sugar with everything. And, of course, "low fat" fake food.
Proper food means vegetables, meat, eggs and dairy. Mostly vegetables (potatoes don't count!). Cook everything yourself. Eat when you're hungry and stop when you're full. Eat in this way and your appetite will accurately gauge the "how much" - and when the weightloss kicks in, you'll probably notice that your appetite drops. That's the "calorie deficit" that you're looking for.
I have pcos too but I agree with the above reply about healthy foods, I've found that losing weight is really about replacing bad h acc bits with good habits. For example I have always had an "addiction" to chocolate, once I ate it I couldn't stop but the problem for me was it caused my mood to go down. Eventually I cut out chocolate completely in all forms, no bars, ice cream, cocoa or drinking chocolate. So instead I deliberately had to choose savoury snacks or non chocolate sweet snacks. It's been easier, not perfect, but easier. So in my experience it's about choosing alternatives that will work for you, not me or anyone else- but you.Think about what really works for you food wise, that will help you on your journey. I gave up margarine on toast with marmalade- my ultimate breakfast, now its deliberately savoury acc and contains protein. It's not my automatic choice because I'm still establishing a habit but it works better than my old habit.
Dont try too many changes all at once or you will get confused and overwhelmed. If you make a choice that doesnt work for you, that's ok, it's all knowledge and you'll know for the future.

Yes I looked at some of the videos last night thank you and must do more looking tonight, it's a challenge alright the low carb approach but my gut (pun intended!!)tells me from.past experience it's the right approach for me, I will try this again over the coming weeks. I was particularly interested about the insulin resistance
That is just the best! Thank you, I really found the idea of the egg wraps, the lettuce and the meatloaf very good.. I'm going to research this more, it's really just about opening the mind to new options as opposed to old staples
