Hi kittenfluff, have a look back at your first post and the replies there and see if there's anything that helps, particularly joining in with a weekly weigh in and the Daily Diary. Here it is healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh....

Hi

I would suggest writing a list of jobs that need doing around the home and then aim to tick at least 2 off each day. It works for me!

Ive been calorie counting for 1.5 weeks after 2 years of saying I want to lose weight!

It was an eye opener when I realised just how many calories I was consuming. Also stopped the alcohol too. The first weekend was the hardest I admit.... I have a post-it on the fridge and I tick the days off as I am going. It was a nice feeling to hit 10 days.

This might work for you too.....

Start with writing a list ... see how you feel... do 1 or 2 things on the list this weekend perhaps

I did just that, painted my little summer hse and attacked the garden. Thanks for being there. X

Well there you go then! Well done. Nice to see things crossed off the list isnt it?

Glad it helped. Update your list as you go... you might find new things to add

Not good, nil weight loss this week, but on the brighter side ,no gain. How are you?

That’s a success kittenfluff, reversing the trend 😊👍👏. I know it’s been said before, but try to come onto the forum regularly, daily if you can. It’s quite probably the best thing you can do for your health and well being

Good suggestions, Maxineis, you sound very organised. Welcome to the forum :)

There's loads to get involved in here and you'll find everything in Pinned Posts healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... I recommend joining a weekly weigh in (why not weigh in the morning and join the very friendly Saturday Superstars?) and using the Daily Diary, where members post their meal plans.

Active participation gives a real boost to your own efforts so I hope we'll see you out and about around the forum :)

Thank you BridgeGirl for your encouragement to the members.

To kittenfluff and Maxineis , Sunday is the new Monday! The Super Sunday Slimmers' weigh is open until 9 pm (BST) 03/05. Lots of support and inspiration there. You can find the thread in the 'Pinned Posts'. Hope to see you there.

Good luck with your weight loss.

Thanks. I measure myself instead of weighing

No problem. Whatever works best for you.

The weigh in is not only about weighing in. It is a place to support and get support. Of course, not everybody uses a weighing in site, though.
