I have a simple water challenge for anyone who wants to participate.
7 days of drinking 3 large glasses of water a day.
Adding ginger or lemon etc to the water or drinking naturally non-caffeinated herbal tea counts (as long as it's a big mug). No sweeteners of any kind are allowed but any water you do drink can be an addition to your usual drinks.
Try to drink one before you sleep (but can be at any time of the day) and come and check yourself off the list every day.
I want you to pay close attention to your skin during this challenge and report any changes to your skin or any other changes you notice during the challenge, at the end of the week.
Check off the list using a βοΈ or the first letter of your name.
I.e. Day 1 - βοΈ
Day 2 - βοΈ
Day one starts tomorrow on the 29th of February. Add your day 1 βοΈ anytime on the 1st of March for the previous day.
Enjoy π¦ π₯π₯π₯ π¦ π

You're welcome to join in anyway - just come and tick yourself off daily, starting with tomorrow to show you've done today's x
Yes your right. I drink glasses of water a lot through the day especially water with my meals, so Iβll side step this if I may. Thanks though. Iβm a dummy! π€£π€£
Hello MintTeaMascara I think that is a wonderful challenge. I've read for years that you should drink lots of water. Since I've started my 12 week challenge I put a wine bottle (1 litre) in the fridge filled with water and drink it throughout the day especially if I think I feel hungry. This I am doing twice a day so I'm drinking 2 litres. Again I've read that your body sends out the same signal if you are hungry or just thirsty. Well much to my surprise it's been very easy to drink it and sometimes after a couple of glasses my hunger just disappears like magic. Please try it everyone.
π Hopefully by the end of the 7 days you'll notice a positive change in your sleeping pattern.
Good luck with getting your three in today and come back tomorrow to check yourself off for day 1 πβοΈ
Hi MintTeaMascara, Please add me to your list. Sounds like a great challenge for me. Iβve given up alcohol for Lent, and I think Iβll enjoy sitting down with a glass of water with a bit of lemon, cucumber or mint, when I get in from work or from a run, and before bed. I hadnβt thought of ginger but Iβll try a slice of that too.
Amazing, well done and that's sounds like a lovely plan. Just get your three glasses in today and come back tomorrow to post on this thread that you've successfully completed day one x
I drink 3 litres of water a day and have noticed a huge difference to my skin which has received positive comments. No point in me joining but this is a really worthwhile challenge that will really help all those who join up ππππ (Iβm always in the loo though, haha!)

Well done every one who completed this week's challenge π π π
I've noticed my eye lids have been more puffy (in a good way), my dry skin has - for the most part - cleared up and generally looks more radiant. I feel like I have more motivation in the mornings when I reach for a large mug of mint tea instead of some other drink π
I found I struggled a couple of days if I didn't start early but all in all its been achievable and a positive experience β€οΈ
Day 7 βοΈ. Iβm really pleased that I completed this challenge as Iβve never really been a βwaterβ person. However I did it and like you struggled a couple of times when I left the start a bit too late. I have noticed that my skin is a little smoother which is in itself a miracle as the wrinkles Iβve earned during my 79.5 years would really require a tub of polyfilla to make any real difference. Iβm going to continue trying to drink more water. Thanks for the challenge.π
π You're welcome and I'm really glad you've tried this challenge.. Makes me happy π
I'm convinced water must be really good for all sorts of health related issues and body functions.
I'm 33 and the wrinkles have definitely started to set in. I guess the only thing left for me, is to fully embrace them and I'll be happy as long as there's some beautiful, deep set smile lines π
I think we're all beautiful no matter what we look like or how old we are when we find our inner contentment and positivity, and I think good diet and staying hydrated is a element towards achieving it.
Thank you for taking part ππ
Day 7 β Found it easy enough to do and really enjoyed the water; I also had a turmeric βteaβ sometimes when I wanted a hot drink. Canβt say my skin is especially more moist or radiant, but I feel generally well and Iβll probably continue to drink 3 extra glasses a day. Thanks for the suggestion, MintTeaMascara! x
I'm glad it's helped - Well done, and thank you for participating!
You're welcome and if you think this checklist is something you'd like to continue with, please let me know with feed back on what you like and how things could work better x
