We beat oursleves up and feed in to our mistakes too often.
The aim of this thread is to give strength to what we are getting right and to hopefully help any of us that are struggling, to get back on track.
Feel free to join in if you don't want to/can't do the whole week.
Please do not comment on the things you feel didn't go so well.
Please post one sentence only, every day, for one week, on what is going well for you. Whether that be "I drank water today, I ate fruit or I avoided snacking."
Take a quick mental note (or post below) on how positive or negative you feel around your eating habits right now and then by the end of the week we can assess if we've noticed any changes.

My son named me MintTea as a random user name (think I was drinking mint tea at the time) - good way for me to keep hydrated
Feeling 50/50 pos/neg, but on the positive, I had fruit and/or vegetables at every meal today. Thanks for this post MTM, helping us focus on the positive! 👍
Hi thanks for hosting MintTeaMascara, I forgot to take my scotch egg to work with me today, but discovered that Greggs will serve a sausage sandwich without the bun! x
I had to take a packed lunch today and I'd assumed I'd have to take sandwiches as per usual, but then I thought, I could make a salad in a bowl and take a fork.
So, I put a few beans, a bit of cheese, some mayo and a great deal of crunchy green stuff, it was delicious and met my calorie and fibre target.
I also made a duplicate to have in the fridge and eat when I got indoors later, I don't mind eating the same thing twice as long as it's delicious!
So I was very pleased with that and I shall do it again.

Hi MTM, how are you? Great to see you here. Today was such a lovely day of breakfast-in-bedding and newspaper reading and bookshop going and park walking it’s hard to pick one thing. But for health and weight loss I’ll choose the walk:
Today I walked about 8 miles through streets and parks on a beautiful day and didn’t eat cake at the end of it!

Yeah, it's mainly supposed to be about diet change but anything really to do with weight loss where you feel you need to channel your focus away from negative thinking to positive.
Hi giving up my teas, coffees, already stopped drinking soda for a while. 2nd day of only drinking water. Feeling very pleased with myself and it does get easier.
Hi MTM. Oops I missed a day! So will do two days now:
Yesterday (Monday) - planned a healthy day's eating and stuck to it, including v delicious spicy carrot pancakes for dinner - even though was really tired in the evening and nearly had a massive plate of pasta instead.
Today (Tuesday) - stuck to my plan again; particularly pleased to have stuck to snack plan of 1 apple when temptations all around the work kitchen.
You don't have to worry about doing it everyday - it's more to learn to focus on what we are getting right rather than chastising ourselves for what we are getting wrong
I want it to be a relaxed, stress-free space - just a space to come and check in what we are doing well (no matter how small).
You're more than welcome to check in everyday, one day or random days
A chocolate bar was left on everyone’s chair after lunch at today’s training. Mine went straight in my bag for my son. Everyone else scoffed theirs straight away. I felt zero interest in doing so.
