I am not sure I posted this right? I am always a bit confused with posting things. so hope I got the right place this time!

I had a rubbish week for walking due to the rotten weather! I got steps in most days but only just managed a short walk yesterday, around Pontefract castle then a walk into Pontefract for a very welcome hot coffee!! 🥶☕ It isn't a very big place but at least we managed to get out!

And if you ever think life is hard when you are feeling a bit peckish and can smell the chip shop ...... Richard the second died in suspicious circumstances here. He died of starvation, locked in cell above the bakery. 🍞😱

Your pictures are just stunning! Beautiful blue skies, although I bet it was bitterly cold. Are those violets in the bottom right?

Re chip shops, there is one near me, but it doesn't smell very nice, when I'm walking past I'm thinking, they need to change their oil. This is a good thing really, because it could be very tempting!

Old oil will help you resist, so let's hope they don't change it. 😁
