Hi missmillenium99, welcome back and lovely to see you over on the Sunday Weigh In. I've given you a Restart badge and here is a link to our updated site guide.

healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

You'll find advice in that on how to find Pinned Posts and Events. They are like Chapter headings or Stores for us where you'll find the Daily Diary and Weigh In pages. The Easter Challenge is also listed under Pinned Posts

Please read the guide carefully and it'll help you explore the site more successfully(dont use the HU app ,just access via the website)

Welcome back missmellenium :)

Have you got a plan to do things differently this time?

Apart from the weigh-in, maybe consider joining in with the Daily Diary, draw up each day's menu in advance to help maintain focus.

Best of luck! :)

I have a food diary and I am writing everything I eat in it along with mfp. I’ve signed up to two classes a week at the gym to guarantee I’ll go and I am back on here. Hoping that will keep me on track.

Keeping a food diary is great but do look at our Daily Diary pages on here, they could help with motivation and you could also help others by sharing your plans? We learn a lot from eachother on here 🙂

Thanks, I’ll give that a go too.

Doing that means you get feedback.

Food science has come a long way yet most people only understand teachings and concepts that date back to the 60s and 70s, teachings that have perpetuated right through to today.

Hi, missmillenium99 , welcome.

If you "slim smart" weight loss is not so hard! It is not all about motivation and masochism.

Some of us here find that what works is a combination of The Low Carbohydrate, High-Fat (LCHF) diet (see the forum here on Health Unlocked) and Not Snacking All Day AKA Intermittent Fasting (IF). See:

Newbies IF FAQ:

Hello and welcome back missmillenium99 😊

Just to say I agree with Diane2 and Tiggerr about the importance of planning, the Daily Diary is a great post 👍

Try IF, as it is wonderfully easy and effective. I signed up for the Easter Challenge: the general goal is a 7 lb loss, but yours can be anything you wish though don’t be too ambitious as that could be demotivating. Good luck!
