Have you decided on a plan yet? Sounds like you're ready for a change from Slimming World, something you'll be able to stick to and enjoy for life. Steer clear of diets as, by their nature, they're time limited and I think most of us are aiming for a healthy weight for life.

At the moment I’m looking at reducing portion size and counting calories, there is a very handy calorie counter on this which I will use. I do not believe in the SW free foods, all foods have a value! I’m in the habit of having to much!
Quite right, all foods do have a value. That's what needs to be kept in mind when calorie counting, that not all calories are equal in their effects on the body. You may find this interesting healthline.com/nutrition/6-...
Welcome Zofia-AV - whats made you feel Slimming World hasn't worked for you??
Personally - the idea of Slimming World is good for me - a group with support etc but it costs money and their plans, although better than some .. for me aren't really that appealing or true.
From my experience, the 12 week plan and using this forum is free and has better benefits.
Eating more sensibly, keeping foods healthy and unprocessed (as much as possible) and having a balanced diet with a little exercise is far more beneficial than a paid for support group.
