Firstly thank you all so much for your messages of support and advice which have been so very helpful for me. I really feel I can do this!. I got through yesterday without any hitches ...I did feel hungry but after noting down all your advice, today I will make food changes, especially eating more protein based foods to keep me feeling fuller for longer. I've not had my usual cereal and fruit today but have had scrambled eggs on a piece of wholemeal toast. I can have my fruit a bit later.

Why not pop over to the Daily Diary and post your meal plans there? It's very chatty and you'll find there's a lot of interaction, not to mention some great ideas. It doesn't matter if your menu isn't fully planned out at this stage, you'll soon get the planning bug
