Well i think it's about time I started to lose some weight. I've done many fad diets over the year's, but really unhappy with myself at the moment. I do try but I seem to have no motivation. I start but then get hungry because all I'm thinking about is food lol. I think about going for a walk or something then can't be bothered. Really need motivation.

Welcome samjane12 you sound as if you are in a rut and you are not alone. Many on here will know how you feel. The best thing to do is find a new way of eating that suits you. There is a lot of stuff in the media at the moment about a Low Carb High Fat diet. I’m not saying you should follow it, as it might not suit you, but it’s worth a read. Try going out for short walks in the fresh air. I can promise that it will do you good. Also find some sort of exercise that you like. Some go to the gym, some run. I go swimming and I absolutely love it.
Have you got any hobbies? If not it might be time to take one on. Busy hands mean less snacking 😂

Hi don't have any hobbies some times it's difficult because I do a long shift. But I'm not working this week so I thought this week would be a great week to start. I've had porridge and cinnamon for my breakfast. So that's a start lol. It would normally be a sausage buttie. I lovemy carbs that's the problem oh and a nice glass of wine.
I hobby doesn’t have to be too time consuming but something you can do to distract your brain. Even writing in a journal or diary about your day can be good. I do a fair bit of crafting so I’ve always got some thing on the go. I sometimes only get a few stitches done but I find it very therapeutic.
If you like your carbs then the LCHF way might be good for you in that it will be totally different and give you an extra focus. 😊
