I’m not new to weight loss or slimming clubs but I’m new to the site, so hi! I’m 53 and have stage 3 osteoarthritis in my knees and struggle to just walk let alone use the stairs. I had a left knee cartilage repair last year and a steroid injection and now the only option left is a knee replacement 😢 . Before that I need to lose weight & get fitter.
I’m realistic to know I won’t lose 6 stone in 3 months, even in a year will be pushing it, but I really need help to lose anything with my limited capacity for exercise.
Any help or advice anyone can give me will be very gratefully received.
Thanks and happy Sunday 😀

Welcome Sparky and sorry to hear about the problems you've been having with your knee.
The good news is that sensible weight loss is achievable without relying on exercise and there are people here in a similar position. Well done for giving yourself breathing space in terms of time scales, it will help you make better decisions.
For now, follow the link that Anna has supplied you, read the information there, with special attention to the NHS 12 week plan.
