I’d forgotten the joy of homemade soup. Today spicy parsnip, yesterday tomato and herbs. Bonus is it saves money too.

It looks lovely, Needpositivity! :)

If you could edit your thread to add it to the Recipes- soups Topic and put in the ingredients and cooking method, then everyone will be able to sample its deliciousness :)

It's really very simple, Needpositivity. Less complicated than writing the post in the first place :)

I do a lovely carrot and orange soup. Very good for when you have a cold as lots of vitamin C. I’ll post the recipe when I get home later.

Looks yummy! I made a batch of easy Carrot and Coriander soup this week, it lasts for about 4 days of lunch. I put a bit too much water in in though so it wasn't as thick as yours looks. My remedy was to crumble a dark rye Ryvita cracker into it, soaked up the liquid like a sponge and made it a bit thicker, with some bonus healthy 'croutons'. :)

Sounds lovely I have that on my list. Great idea with ryvita cracker. It doesn’t feel like dieting it feels comforting.

I love homemade soup, I don't ever buy soup , it's just not the same. I usually make a huge pot and freeze it in portions.

I just made some celery and blue stilton soup, yum yum. Two portions in the freezer and one portion left of the rest. Can't beat home made soup. Might be convenient for some but it's so easy to make a soup maker thing would just take up space in my house. Must try parsnip and apple soup. x

Now that sounds like a good recipe. I must put some of mine in freezer. You are right easy to make and something really satisfying about making your own soup.
