Gardening day part 2.

Well today's gardening was rather less painful but productive. i ended up clearing all the vegetation in the picture below. and in total spent about 5-6 hours in the garden!

me and a few family members are currently building a wall and have got much further than what Trump has with his wall ;-) to the left of the picture is a fence and we are building a wall along it so we can back fill it full of earth and have a veggie patch.

i ended up mixing the cement and lifting bricks and bags of sand and cement for most of the day.. we still have a lot of work to do regarding digging down to create the foundations before continuing the wall in which i ll share a picture of in my next post!

overall i feel tired but great about myself in getting this done today.

food wise i was very naughty because i missed breakfast because i was playing with my niece and nephew in the morning which was just as hard as the gardening ;) and ended up having 7 slices of toast with 5 slices covered in cheese and onion from under the grill!

The only snack of the day was a apple which was good

dinner ended up being a lamb roast with lots of vegetables and i keep eyeing up my chocolate digestives at 84 kals a biscuit in which i think i should resist as a dessert!

overall for it being the end of the week i weighed myself and i am 110kg dead on and a more accurate than my previous weigh in.

tomorrow will be work and then gardening but if not a nice long walk to burn that fat away :-)

That looks quite a project! Much more satisfying than going to the gym

indeed i haven't had any yet but i think i will save them for when i am in the garden working instead of having the afterwards..... its just too easy to go through the whole packet while sat on the sofa chilling out. Thank you for commenting.

i can only share one picture at a time so i will update this at a later date.

I think you need an app for the collage thing. I downloaded one "pic collage" for a challenge on here and have kept it as I quite like it

That's a lot of hard work there and you will certainly burn off a good few calories with all that digging and lifting.

Sounds really energetic and you will surely have burned off those calories. I'm no big gardener but ventured out in the drizzle to get some more garden rubbish into my green bin for tomorrow's collection... I still have more stuff to go in it when it's empty as a few weeks ago I became murderous and hacked some stuff right back taking a pruning saw to some of it. I still have another bush to go but it's still got flowers on and although past its best I will allow it another week or two. Then there's another one I could do now...but was wet and chilly so will await a better day and an empty green bin.

the weather was rather rubbish today as well a cold but because i was so busy it kept me warm. good luck with the garden work i find it fights back when your not looking and gets out of hand some times. i guess you could call what i am doing as a project. i look forward to sharing more posts on it as well as my daily update on exercise and activities.

my brothers garden is half a acre so i know i will never run out of garden work if i need the exercise.

hopefully next weekend the weather might be a bit more sunny.

tanks for commenting and stopping by "thumbs up"
