Today was a gardening day and Spent 6 hours chopping and burning wood while also digging a bit. Feel so much better about myself! And stopped myself from rewarding myself with sugar and biscuits but had a lovely lamb shank and mash with carrots instead for my dinner.
I have also downloaded a calorie counting app to keep track of what I eat and how May calories I intake!
My only down fall of the day was having a whole bag of tortilla chips which is nearly 1k calories!
I will start my calorie counting tomorrow on the first of october. It will be hard but will be worth it.

It took me a while to calorie count - I took nearly a day and worked though the contents of my cupboards and freezer and put in a spread sheet - was the best day i have spent as really helped

Calorie counting always works for me. A bit tedious but effective. Good luck. By the way - it is easier to stay away from the crisps, biscuits, sweets and soft drinks if they are not in the house.
for myself i am not a big fan of running but i would recommend cycling if you wanted to try and shift that 8 lbs... i am noi expert but doing some endurance cycling will burn tho carbs and fat.
