It was from Debenhams - many years ago! But still wearing well (and still being worn!)

How do you become a HU blogger?

I'm not a HealthUnlocked blogger - I have had a blog for about 5 years - started it when I started on my weight loss journey as a way to share recipes, etc. It kind of took off from there - I was asked by the BBC Ouch to take part in a podcast and found myself on the BBC news webpage! bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-ouch-2...

I saw via this site the option to be nominated for a Blog Award and asked people to nominate me....!

Done. You deserve to win. What an inspiration.Good luck. You look absolutely fab.

Ok, so how did you get your tummy so trim? I'm a bit worried about mine going back. Yours looks great! Excuse the nosiness but did you have skin removal surgery?

Pineapple27 in reply to

No, I don't mind you asking! Yes, had a tummy tuck and breast reduction in December 2013 (had lost 3 and a half stone by then, so just a stone from goal). I had been left with an apron flap of sagging skin. My boobs were a 40H before weight loss and surgery. When I lost weight, my boobs went to a 28H, but were "empty". After surgery I was a more manageable 38DD.

It was more for practical reasons rather than appearance as I wasn't able to reach and clean under the lose skin. I paid for the surgery privately.
