I am looking to lose weight but always feel like I get a few days in to a diet and get bored. I can never think of new recipes and barely ever have time to prep (work and laziness I guess).
I promise I used to be skinny this isn't just some 'out of reach aspiration' I have! I really want to get back to how I was. I used to do dance classes every two nights and running on the other nights. But I quit both, and started on cakes and marriage instead π
I have just read up on the NHS 12 week plan and willing to give it a go, however I wanted to try C25K... honesty is the best policy right? so how difficult is this? how achievable is this? will I get laughed at?
and not to forget ... where's good for gym gear?
Sorry for the long post but, hey ππΌ π!

Don't think of this as a diet, but as a life style change that is sustainable. Diet conjures up losing weight for a while and then not doing it anymore. Join in as much as you can, daily diary and weekly weigh ins are great. See what others post and jump right in. The more you put in the more you will get out of the group.
Try C25K or find a local club or beginners group there's a lot about!
I highly recommend the 12 week plan but do commit to it. I found week 2 hardest! Now I can't eat too much because I'm used to it and 11 weeks later I've lost a stone and now overweight not obese.
Also NHS choices receives lots of low calorie great ideas good luck
Welcome to the journey towards good health and fitness.
Fill your life with positivity and energy... and weight loss will happen as a side effect.
No need to diet, because diets usually means starvation which usually does not work in long term. It is better to focus on MINDFUL EATING... I am giving this link down below. Please read it and try to practice it. If you do this for 30 days, then you never have to refer to any diet book.
Don't fight your urges and tastes, just accept them, which you can indulge in once a week. Do not feel guilty over your temptations. It is very natural.
Best thing is to keep yourself filled with fruits and veggies and salads and soups so that you don't feel hungry. And when you dont feel hungry you will not get attracted to cakes.
