Morning everyone, this week I have been averaging 15.000 steps so that's good on the downside I had been given a hotel chocolate Easter egg from a parent at school and now there is only one half left. (I don't know how that happened). Last night I met up with some friends I used to work with so I thought come on Kim make some healthy choices so I had lemon sole with new potatoes and vegetables good start I thought but then for desert caramel bananas with ice cream and a glass of red wine (so much for me not drinking during the week) but today I am walking everywhere so I hope that will counteract last nights meal a little bit. Tomorrow I am off on holiday with my partner and staying in a self catering apartment so depending if I can get wifi I may be a bit quite for a change lol. I hope everyone has a good week and I will let you know how I get on when I get back ππ

Walking everywhere
Good morning Kim,
You're clocking up some impressive steps there! I'm sure they will compensate for your minor indiscretions
Have a lovely holiday and we'll look forward to hearing all about it on your return
Hi Kim,
WTG you! 15,000 steps a day is great! Try not to worry too much about the egg, it's hard to risk the temptation at this time of year. I wouldn't worry too much about last night's dinner either, all the walking will cancel it out!
Have a great holiday
Rob
Well done on the 15k steps, sounds like a lot. I'm guessing that it wont take you too long to burn off those indulgences.
I went on holiday last year to a cottage in Dorset. I took my laptop but it had no wifi. You can get around this by just attaching your mobile to your laptop (usb cable) and then using the 'tethering' option under your mobile settings. Instant internet access for your laptop depending upon how costly your mobby data roaming bill is going to be.
Have a good burn session and holiday.
Well done Kim! 15k steps sounds really impressive to me! I assume you use a step counter of some sort? I still haven't bought one as I'm so confused about all the different ones available. I want something simple but reliable. Any ideas anyone?
Hi battlethebulge my one is called veryfit 2.0 I got it from amazon and it syncs with your mobile. It's basic but I've found it good. It tracks your steps, counts our many calories you have burnt and tells the time. You can even take a photo but I haven't done that I don't like selfies of me at the best of time lol π it costs around 22.00 but you can get cheaper ones too. Good luck π
Give it to charity!!!
Good luck Kim xxπ
The hidden dangers of being a teacher, hey? But eating Easter eggs before Easter?! Tut, tut. Enjoy your holidays.
Thankyou everyone I've just seen the weather report for the uk and it's going to be lovely here too so enjoy your gardens and the sunshine too ππ
