15kgs is a dangerous amount to lose in a month. I wouldn't advise trying any sort of diet that promotes that level of loss.

Hi prateeksxn

Welcome to the weight loss forum.

No it is not possible as 15kgs is 33.06lbs, to lose that amount in a month would make you ill, so I would not advise it. Why not try the 12 week plan and lose weight safetly and that you can keep off.

Take a look at the Welcome Newbie post in the Pinned post section at the right hand side or at the bottom if your on a mobile. Have a look at the nhs 12 week plan, many members have had success following this plan. Use the BMI checker to work out your daily calorie allowance.

Have a look at the Daily Diary which you can find on the Home page in Events. It is where all the members are sharing their daily plans on what they are eating and any exercise they are doing. This thread will give you some ideas on how to start.

Below the Pinned posts are the Topics where members share a range of weight related subjects.

Take your measurements at the start together with a photo so you can see the changes on the days the scales don't move.

We have daily weigh ins so why not come along and join us today. You can find the weigh ins on the Home page in the Events section on the right. Just click on the post in Events and record your start weight and any loss/gain or maintain for the week.

To get the most of the forum be active, share tips, recipes and experiences. Read some of the posts they are very motivating.

Have a good first week.

Wise words Rose, weight loss can be a funny thing, sometimes when you think you've gained, you've lost and the other way round, all kinds of other factors at bay too.

I think you need to see the weight loss as a journey, think for now what you can change instantly, it could be very obvious such as not buying carbonated drinks, and just replacing with water, by mindful of portion sizes (the nhs site does that very well) and that all foods are not calorie equal, I do question why you are being so unrealistic or is desperation? For every lb you lose, it's a massive 5lbs off your knees, so a small amount should make some difference!

Slow and steady wins the race and is much healthier too

Hi Hun- dare I ask how much you need to lose or what is you goal? I have BMI 31 and cholesterol is 7.4-dreadfull!! my aim is to get back from sz 18 to 14 in a year. I have approached my gp for help via Xenical Pharmacuticals who make Orlistat, I used it many years ago with success before the days of HRT and steroids!! I am also asking Wiltshire farm foods for some help too. let you know how it goes-even if it doesn't.!

I agree with all the other comments- some diets may say you can loose that, but as soon as you go off it, it will just pile on again. Ideally you should aim for 1-2lbs or 0.5-1kg a week though its slower its more sustainable and you are more likely to keep it off. Good luck
