As I will be away from home on Monday I thought I would do my weigh-in today and am pleased to say that since Monday, 5 days ago, I have lost a whole kilogram - down to 76.4kg! That will be the effect of no alcohol or butter, still, and smaller meal portions with added fruit and veg. I also started the NHS level 1 strength and flex exercises which were slightly gruelling as I haven't used some of those muscles for a wee while.
I allowed myself a treat and had a whole battered haddock (no chips) from the fish shop, last night. It was absolutely delish! No more treats like that, though, until another kilo or two has come off.
Thought I would make a couple of new blouses and a jacket for trips planned over the next two months and was pleased to compare my measurements yesterday with those taken a month ago, so much so that I made a blouse in size 18 instead of 22 and it fits like a dream. At this rate I might have to make one in a size 16 before I set off!

Wow, this is great - Congratulations on losing 1 kg this week - in just 5 days! Would you like me to include your loss in our Monday group stats? I would be very happy to do that, as I know you're away on Monday.
Yes. Thanks a lot. However, I've just noticed a typo! I am 76.4kg! Aah! Still lost one kilogram since Monday though! Must be a case of subliminal wishful thinking!
Those typos are annoying aren't they! You've still lost 1 kg though! You can easily edit your typo - just click on the box to the right of 'like' and there is an 'edit' feature, so feel free to edit if you want to!
I will definitely include your result in our Monday weigh-in, and many Congratulations again!
I made bridal wear and tailored clothing for twenty odd years before I retired so its quite nice now to have the time to make things for myself. I have soooo much fabric to plough through, accumulated over the years!
