Hope you are all well and enjoying what's left of summer.
Weigh in today and lost 2.2 Ib, really pleased, last week had a gain but the day before had been to York races with full hospitality. My thinking was the gain was due to what had eaten/ drank in the day ( I said no to nothing ! ) and was hoping that a ' normal week' would turn it around and it has.
I have learned( it's taken years ! ) that one day does not undo it all !! and maybe I need to acknowledge that I do have different habits and most times make good choices.
I do believe life is for living and I am really enjoying feeling fitter, healthier, slimmer and yes Gorgous !! lol
Bank holiday looms and on Monday I going to an Asian festival and been told the food is fab, I can almost taste the samosa's lol.
Well I'm off to the dentist.
Have a lovely weekend and a great week.

Hey Flossie, you get around! That Asian festival sounds fab! Congrats on your 2.2lb loss as well as on the general change that's happening, feeling better in yourself and feeling like you have control now, that you can have these days out as long as the overall trend is towards a healthier version of you

Thanks Ruth,
I really feel I've turned a corner and do feel a lot more in control. I do still have a really sweet tooth but again have learned that I can't be free and easy with sweet stuff, it has to be planned and if honest I do enjoy it more.
The festival is in a local park and is a mix of music, food, dance and Asian culture, it's free and I am so looking forward to it.
Hope you have a lovely weekend.

Oooh where is the Asian Festival on at Flossie? Sounds fabby. Pat on the back and a Woohoo on the weightloss. You have this life balance thing nailed hun, enjoying social pleasures and knowing that you can reverse any weight gain by just remaining focused, that the event lasted 1 day and not for a whole week. Go girl, give yourself a 'high 5', oh yeah!! π
Hi flossie and very well done for losing 2.2 lbs this week I am so, so very pleased for you.
I love you way of thinking. One day does not undo all of the hard work you put into this journey and yes life is for living. I am so happy to hear you are feeling fitter, healthier, slimmer and "YES" you said "GORGEOUS"
You sound so happy flossie and so you should be hun
Have a great time at the Asian festival and I must say I wish I was there with you I bet the food is going to be tasty (yum)
Congratulations on losing 2.2 pounds! That is really great, especially as you've also been to York races with full hospitality - what a fantastic week.
Really well done, and hope you have a lovely weekend, and enjoy the Asian festival.
2.2 lbs is great and you should be really pleased with that.
Enjoy the Asian festival - Asian food to me is probably one of, if not THE healthiest cuisine around so you'l;l have plenty of good (and a few bad choices.
