A few years ago I weighted around 13.5 stone after leaving a rather difficult relationship. Since then I have been on and off the diet band wagon more times then I care to admit and over the years through the ups and downs I have lost around 3 stone, regained the weight and lost it again..... I'm sure I'm not the only one :/
I now weigh around 11.5 stone and still want to get rid of a stone or two and after abusing my body for years with bouncing from one weight to another, I also desperately need to tone up!
I'm hoping by following the 12 week plan on the NHS website and following an exercise routine (Predominately Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred (worked wonders before) and cycling) I will pick up some much needed tips and advice to keep my weight off for good!
Hope everyone is well and doing okay and I cant wait to hear your help and advice
Thanks,
Kayleigh

Your timing is great, we've just started a 12 week plan, re-boot challenge and you'd be very welcome to join us. The challenge can be found in the Pinned Posts section to the right of your screen and with it are several other challenges, our welcome newbie thread and a fabulous collation of recipes, all of which are well worth a read
We also have a group weigh-in tomorrow and the thread will be posted by Lowcal before 6.30am. You can follow Zest for a notification of when she posts, or you'll find the latest thread in the events section to the right of the home page
Looking forward to seeing much more of you and to following your progress.
Thank you for the warm welcome and yeah sounds great, it will be nice to have a support network and share other peoples journeys as well! Just what I'm looking for to keep me going
Hope to see you around and all the best to you too
Welcome! I hope you enjoy the NHS 12 week plan, and if you like the idea of joining us in the group re-boot, then please do so. I am pleased to see moreless has already told you about the things going on in the forum, and I hope you'll join in with anything you like the look of.
I have done Jillian's 30 Day shred - except that I never actually manage to stay the course to finish it! I have got to level 3 once, but generally have done level 1 mainly! It's certainly a work-out!!!
Thank you for the warm welcome and yeah moreless has been really helpful and friendly I will certainly try my best to join in on as much as I can!
Yeah its hard going but worth it in the end, it helped me quite a lot last time and its always my go too work out when I'm starting again (haha which is often) and ah even level one us an achievement, she knows how to push you to the limits.
