I thought I'd say 'hello'. I've been following the NHS BMI chart since I started my process on 1st August 2019, from a weight of 125 kg (20 stone).
I found this forum not long after joining the 'Couch to 5k' forum last week. I suspect the second half of the weight-loss journey might be tougher than the first?
My overall goal is to reach a healthy weight (sub-25 BMI) which is around 87kg (14 stone).
I'm at 99 kg (16 stone) now (BMI 28.3).
So around 12 kg to go to reach a healthy weight, but then I don't want to sit on the edge, I want to take my weight around another 10 kg into the middle of the healthy zone and then keep it there.
ok, that's me. Hope everyone else is well. π

If you "slim smart" weight loss is not so hard! It is not all about motivation and masochism.
Some of us here find that what works is a combination of The Low Carbohydrate, High-Fat (LCHF) diet (see the forum here on Health Unlocked) and Not Snacking All Day AKA Intermittent Fasting (IF). See:
Thanks S11m . I've been following a Low-Carb (not no carb) process. Up to 3 complex carbs per day. I've not been seeking out high fat, but nor have I been choosing low and no fat. Intermittent Fasting seems a bit masochistic to me, but I keep 'snacks' to a Greek Yoghurt or a couple of cheese crackers. π
If you do not eat all night, you intermittently fast - you can subtly reduce the duration of your eating window by not eating after some time in the evening.
