Well done you! I lost three stone (20 kilos / 42 pounds) on this way of life and have maintained my weight loss since April 2013 with just one fasting day a week. Best to avoid fruit on fasting days though - have some carrot sticks instead if you need a snack. youtu.be/W9Aj6hRYg4A
Hi denvajade, Fating is easy, most people think that they have to fast BEDTIME TO BEDTIME, but i do my fasting 3 pm-next day 3 pm, so you will still eat (moderation) but the same time fasting 24 hours. I just finish reading a book: FAST DIET BY Dr. Michael Mosley & Mimi Spencer, (in Tesco € 9.95) and the best buy EVER Alternatively you can fast bedtime to bedtime, but i think it is much more harder. I drank lots of water, herbal tea and knorr cup of soup (72 kcal), 1 apple and carrot sticks. I feel wonderful- i really do. All the best and i will update my results next week. Thank you again
My favourite book is The 5:2 Diet by Kate Harrison amazon.co.uk/Feast-Weight-B... I still think it's far less complicated to treat a fasting day as just that and fast between sleeps - but each to his or her own. When I first did this I dropped breakfast as eating breakfast only made me more hungry during the day - I don't eat breakfast any day now. For lunch I'd have a bowl of soup and then I'd have a small evening meal with loads of vegetables (not potatoes). The first thing I did was to start eating from small plates or bowls - portion control is key.
thank you for your replay, Your kind words and encouragement defiantly keep me going and your FANTASTIC RESULTS! Congratulations! Ps. You look fantastic Thank you for video. all the best, Jane
Sounds like you have a Fitbit! I love mine and walk at least 10,000 steps a day, generally a lot more. I've had my Zip since August last year and have walked over 2,000 miles - it does help that I no longer have a car and I'm far fitter for not having one.
