Hi am laura i would love for any one to give me info on how to lose weight

losing weight should be easy. Its all about burning more calories than you eat. So if you count your calorie intake and then do an exercise program to burn more off.

Best advice I've got

1 start the day with a good healthy breakfast to kick start your metabolism

2 eat several small portions during the day with a good lunch

3 never eat a big meal late at night

4 start a regular cardio workout program (checkout ptprograms.com.au you can download them for free. I joined the $10 membership and have 12 weekly personal programs put together)

I've heard it takes 3 weeks of doing something regularly to make it a habit so be prepared to stick at it and make it part of your life. You'll love it eventually

Hi Laura,

I think there's loads of stuff to read and learn about losing weight but for me I'd say the biggest thing is to have a small realistic goal in mind that you set yourself and reward yourself when you achieve it (not necessarily with food!) As paulg01 says, losing weight should be easy but there're loads of reasons why people struggle to do it so I think it's more about taking a journey of making small changes to your health and lifestyle and being prepared to stick at them. Habits actually take more like 3 months to form (of repeating them regularly) so that's another reason people struggle to lose weight - we give in too soon.

Hi Laura,

The best way for me to lose weight is to eat 3 healthy meals daily. In between have 3 small protein snacks ie, a few nuts, protein bar, hard boiled egg, slice of toast, no white bread.

Cut out drinks that are high in sugar, no soda, soda is really bad. Eating this way ( every 3 hours) keeps blood sugar stable which prevents the flight/ fight situation, which means your body will not have to hold on to the fat.

Please don't think I'm being cocky I'm not as I have just started my weight loss plan and I need to lose 2st.
