Help me please I need to lose weight

Hello everyone, i have been a silent member but now i would like to seriously begin my weightloss journey. I am a lady in late 30's and I live in sweden. I am 150 cm tall :) but i weigh 70kgs 😥. I would like to lose 15kgs honestly though i would kill to even lose 10kgs. Please i will appreciate any tips that you share with me. Today i did 16:8 fast. I have a lot of issues with guilt associated with eating and that's what led me to overweight Are you guys using an app or writing directly though the website like i do?

Peace and love

Hello and welcome, duit :)

The app isn't worth using as it doesn't give access to the whole of the forum so you're best to do as you are doing and using the website, on whatever device you use.

You'll find everything you need to use the forum in Pinned Posts by following this link healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... A good place to start is by joining a weekly weigh in and using the Daily Diary, where members share their meal plans.

If you've been looking in on the forum, you'll know it's all about interaction, learning from and with each other and offering support and encouragement so I hope you'll be joining in with all the forum has to offer :)

Hi duit, well done for posting, I am a newbie to the site as well. I am using IF most days, how long have you been doing it for?

in reply toPink4eva

Hello! I started last week on saturday with 18 hours. I have done IF before but i did it in a wrong way and ended up with extra kilos instead😏. I would binge like crazy in my eating window. How long have you been doi g IF?

I have always been able to go a long time between meals, but only doing it as IF for a few months. I also have a problem with binge eating, which is why am going to try the LCHF eating plan.

It's a lie when they say one can eat as much as he/she wants. Calorie deficit is still important. I feel sad that i can't have a good relationship with food coz i know i won't IF for life. Best is to learn how to eat health, but i get bored quickly and snack all day.

Never say never, duit. I've been IF'ing for the best part of 50 years, by not eating breakfast. In fact, the only time I've eaten it is on holiday, or when on a diet, as that's what has always been recommended. Of course, it's only recently been called Intermittent Fasting :)

Eating when bored is a habit that can be broken, the same as not lighting up a cigarette. Every time you reach for a snack, find something else to do - go for a walk, phone a friend, do some craftwork, have a bath, paint your finger nails. Believe me, it works :)

woww, thankyou for the encouragement. Deep inside me i know i love IF because i dont look bloated when i have fasted. The problem is when i get hungry, i then curse IF and promise to never be on it again. I really love it. I will find a way how to use make it work for me. Thankyou

As long as you eat properly between fasts, you should never be more than normally hungry for your next meal. Just don't try to do too much, too soon.

Sure. I love food unfortunately. if you leave me with a box of candies i will not touch but don't leaveve me with food haha. i will be more active, this is a nice website. :)

Hi SC, thank you for the information, I am new to the LCHP and am grateful for the input.

Thankyou, i do u mean carbs just 500 calories and the rest is protein? 1:5:1 is something that i have never heard of but i can google.

No, StillConcerned means:

500 cals low GI carbs

300 cals protein

The rest of your calories should come from natural fat (1.5 to 1 monounsaturates to saturates)
