I've not been on here for a while but I'm slowly slipping back into bad habits. I have been trying to calorie control. I have PCOS so insulin resistance is an issue for me. Everyone around me seems to be doing really well with diets etc. but I find it so difficult as due to hormones my cravings for sugar and carbs are insane!
anyone in the same boat? and any tips are widely welcomed. Been TTC for 6 years now and I'm still the heaviest I've been in that time.
Somethings got to give.

I’ve struggled with my weight for most of my life, and the only way I’ve managed to lose successfully in a way that is sustainable is through Weight Watchers (technically now called WW I think!) - the support and resources available have meant that my PCOS doesn’t really impact on my weight loss at all. Also, I’m finally having regular periods! I’m no poster child for success (I’ve had my ups and downs) but if you haven’t tried WW - or haven’t done it in a while - it’s really worth finding a meeting x
If you do join WW, the app is fantastic - the Connect community (kind of like social media for members) is generally very supportive and you'll see so many people on the exact same journey you're on. Also if you need any advice I've been on it for so long now I know some stuff off by heart (which is a bit sad...)! Good luck
theanswertopcos diet is the only one that works consistently for me, she has researched pcos for over 30 years so really knows her stuff, go to her website as it is only£10 at the mo. There is also a FB group too so chat with other ladies on the diet.
I did it about 8-10 years ago and have pretty much maintained my weight since, two other ladies did it at the same time and both lost 7 stone and conceived naturally (I wasnt TTC), good section on binge eating and sugar/carb so she totally understands our struggles.
