Mr doctor rang me today to tell me to switch back to northisterone from desogestrel tomorrow as my gync said apparently it be the best thing to stop the bleeding ... here's my problem ๐Ÿ™„ it was the norethisterone that caused this huge prolonged bleeding all this month from the 5th Jan the bleeding is still on going and I personally feel that if I switch back to norethisterone the bleeding will once again increase!!! Also I'm on the waiting list for an endometrial ablation but that can take a few months...... and I can't keep on with this bleeding as I said to my GP today she said she will rite to my gync to see if she can try and get the ablation pushed forward but this might not work due to back log from covid!!! So I'm now stumped on what to do .... cause I've been taking desogestrel 75mg pill ( 12hr window ) ones for 4 days so far and the bleeding is still the same and on going basically messed up and all over the place still its been ( 3 week ) of constant bleeding regardless of me taking desogestrel pills daily .... I do and don't want to take norethisterone again due to the bleeding its already caused ๐Ÿ˜’

I need some advice please ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿ˜ฉ as I'm super tired and over worked daily with being a community care worker and this bleeding is just not letting up! ๐Ÿ˜•

Should I re start the norethisterone to give it another try?! Or just stick to desogestrel tbh I'd love to go cold turkey on all meds but scared to death the bleeding will become super heavy again ..... all in all I need someone advice as my GP seems to not understand my situation
