Hey, everyone! I'm new here and I was advised to try and find folks with a similar experience to mine.
I got diagnosed with PCOS after having exactly zero (0) periods until I was 21, and then only like... two after that? My GP highly recommended I seek treatment when I was 19 (which I delayed for several reasons, chief of which being an encounter with maybe the worst endocrinologist on planet earth as we know it today), and at 25 I finally bit the bullet and got a second ultrasound (the worst) to get diagnosed with PCOS. I'm now on metformin, microgynon and, as of this morning, tranexamic acid, because I haven't stopped having a period for... three months now? Which, after 25 years of having very few, reeeeally sucks, haha.
The only other person I know with the same condition has had a WILDLY different experience to me, so I wanted to see if anyone else in the community might have some advice and/or insight!
I'm also transgender (agender, to be precise; they/them pronouns only please!) and was wondering if anyone else might be able to commiserate over the troubles of thinking of going on Testosterone Juice whilst diagnosed with PCOS, or just tips on how to best accentuate the bumfluff on my face. Either or!
Thanks a bunch
