No. It never goes away. Your thinking of endometriosis.

My PCOS has now caused type 2 diabetes. :(

Hi,

Congratulations, that is fantastic news, as it is so difficult to conceive with PCOS. I too was fortunate enough to get pregnant after being told for years it would never happen. I don't know if it goes away mine didn't. but that's not to say it can't, maybe the symptoms change after a pregnancy. Maybe your midwife can tell you or at least can find out for you.

enjoy your pregnancy

take care

I don't believe it goes away but I think symptoms can change.

Congratulations.

strangely, i was diagnosed with PCOS about 2 years after the birth of my 3rd child ..... that was 13 years ago! i never had fertility problems previously... 3 healthy teens! but after i developed hypothyroidism , then pcos and amazing 10 years later...coeliac,vitiligo and then lupus....all auto immune! i tell the teens, jokinglt they took the goodness out of me... congratulations being a mum is the most wonderful exprience ever xx
