Pcos

My clinic has said they think I have pcos and there booking me in for a scan.

I have never missed a period but I am always between 5/6 weeks cycle

Had a blood test with gp and it confirmed I ovulate however my clinic said that your period should come a week after you ovulate and it was two weeks after I ovulated what does this mean? Are any of you similar to me?

I’d question what the clinic says. A period should occur 12-16 days post ovulation, not a week.

Irregular cycles are one symptom of PCOS. It’s worth checked the pinned posts for the NICE guidelines which have the diagnostic criteria for PCOS.

Hi i have pcos i didn't have a blood test i was referred to the hospital for a scan as i was in pain with my period every month but i ovulate and my period as never late always get them on time and have always lasted 5 day's also got my tubes checked and everything was fine just really bad cramps with my period and ovulation cramps

Have you had trouble getting pregnant? As I have been trying for two years and no success?xx

Yes they told me it wasn't that i couldn't it's just make it harder when i got the scan u could see it it was foggy looking and that was the pcos x

They may offer u ivf that's what happened with me good luck and i hope u get ur baby 🤞🤞🤞

I wanted a hysterectomy because of the pain i couldn't take it any more but because my tubes were fine they wouldn't do it x
