Ultrasound showing enlarged ovaries but bloods normal?

Hi,

I came off the pill (Lucette) in July (8 months ago) and have had one period since. I went for an ultrasound today which showed my ovaries were slightly larger than normal and suggested PCOS, so would probably be referred for blood tests. However, I had bloods done early March and these came back normal. What are the chances I do have PCOS?

I’m a little bit confused and worried as I’m only 20 and would like to have children one day, everything I’m reading on the internet says that I’ll have problems conceiving if I have PCOS.

Blood tests frequently come back normal!!

Even if you do have pcos which is sounds like you do, it is extremely rare not to conceive just due to pcos so try not to worry. Some people have no issues conceiving at all, others need a little help, and others a bit more. There is loads of help out there nowadays.
