What are they doing in the laparoscopy ? I had one, sadly it didnt help me (they did about 11 things when there were there inc zapping my cysts and checking my tubes). I have known of success stories after the op tho. Is quite uncomfortable for a little while so stock up on pain killers.

Hi, it’s for pcos, ovarian drilling and checking tubes.

Get them to do everything they can while they are in there that could help increase the chances of conceiving. There is only a 6 month window after having it done as often the cysts (follicles) start to increase again so is really only a temporary solution but it does work for some.

I have just been for my pre op it is a little scary but just stay positive. They just ask medical questions take blood, take swabs to check for fungal infections and they may give you pre op medical energy drinks for the evening and morning of the op day and you will have to do more blood tests a few days before the op. They may give you lacsotives to take before the op and explain everything from the discomfort you will feel after to returning to work. But just try to relax and stay positive xx

I had one op last year and was fine.I needed pain killers for 4 days was in complete rest and was able to do normal activities from day 7. Yes, you need to plan for pregnancy in 6 months-1 yras it will recoccur.I was able to conceive but sadly ended up in miscarriage due to other factors. So, nothing to worry abt the surgery and be relaxed, you will be fine too.
