If I don't have period due to PCOS can I get pregnant?

When is the best time to try if you have no set periods to go on?

I would follow the cervical mucus way if you have no idea when you ovulate. Once it turns into an egg white consistency, try on those days :) but means you'll need to check daily

Thank you so much . Really daft question how would I follow the cervical mucus?

If you search the cervical mucus method on Google it shows you more in depth but basically, if your CM is white/creamy and doesnt stretch between your fingers - that means not fertile right now. If it is clear, looks like raw egg whites and stretches far between the fingers - that means ovulation is about to happen :)

White discharge is non fertile but still healthy, but if it goes clear for a few days then its fertile :)

If you're sore/itchy then sounds like thrush and you can get something called canasten duo? Available online or over the counter at pharmacy - Sorts it right out, if that fails I'd recommend an std test just to be safe

I have had that its just soreness but always so cannot be thrush all the time quote me incorrect though? Std test come back clear every time so also not that.

To be sore all the time doesnt sound normal, I would push for a referral to see a gynecologist, have you seen one yet?

Also the GP before they will let me go back put up such a not wanting to do a referral I have to have about 25 swabs and examinations and complain to manager to get referral so I really don`t want to go through that again the GP almost makes it like you are making it up when that is so not the case but who likes going to the GP or gyane .

That must be so difficult to deal with :( let's hope this virus goes away soon so you can go back and get more answers!

I would honestly find another gp, in the meantime sudocrem may help with soreness - I'm not very knowledgeable in the soreness department I'm afraid sorry :(

Thank you anyway . Re GP I go and see different ones they are all about the same . A different GP practice maybe the answer.

Hi as you mentioned you won't get periods due to pcos, u didn't said how often you get your period or when is ur last period? If u are consulting any gynecologist to manage ur pcos then u can ask her to provide fertility drug to conceive. Then she will first put you on regestrogen or any period stimulating hormone. After that they will check for your hormonal levels and depending on that they prescribe you the drug. Don't worry just try to loose weight if you are overweight to manage pcos and conceive quick before planning. All the best.

In order to check your hormones doc Wil give you withdrawal medications with which u get period and they wil do blood test on day 2 of your period... Which Wil give an accurate level sof hormones in ur body. Ask your gynecologist that you want to conceive and ask her to refer you to a fertility specialist who can handle this pcos infertility issues. Or else go to gp and get referred for fertility specialist.
