Got my 9th Covid vaccine appointment set up today by NHS Tayside. Very grateful to get these, though my 30-year-old cerebral vasculitis is still very unstable, and I flare neurologically after every single Covid vaccine for 3 devastating months. But I need the vaccine protection more, and am generating antibodies, so I will keep getting them, and coping with flares.

Hi Viv ,just seen your post, seems I am having the same problem appears it can irritate the Vasculitis issue , “Good to know “ that it is happening in some cases

, that is good in the meaning ,it is not imaginary and that there are others having the same problem ,

Sympathies! Yes in the Facebook group for the charity we've had quite a lot of people report flares after Covid vaccines. Some people have even seemingly developed vasculitis for the first time after a Covid vaccine. In my case I've discussed it at some length with my GP and consultant. And we were in agreement that despite my flares being very debilitating - putting it mildly! - I wanted to continue to get the protection. I know from private antibody tests that I have been developing good antibodies since vaccine number 3. And having had Covid several times in recent months I'm glad I had that extra protection. Flares aside!

Thank you so much for your reply, I was wondering if I was thinking myself into it, and yet the extra symptoms I was getting didn’t seem right, but as I hadn’t heard of anyone else getting it I waited until it really flared and it became obvious . I am still having the same symptoms especially the tremors and hearing problem ,but I,m better than I was ,so thank you for getting back to me .
