The test was done by MMH on the 24.2.25 At 7.00am, 10 hours after last dose of 5mcg T3. Total dose is 45mcg T3.
20 at 7am, 20 at 2pm and 5 at 9pm.
Please can you interpret them please?
I have usual swelling of my stomach which is constant, I cannot get my rings off due to swollen fingers. I have developed pain in my ankles, stiff lower back and pelvis, constantly tired and feel very heavy.
I also went to hospital for thyroid tests on Monday, want to be ahead of what endocrinologist will tell me next week!
Tests taken November 2024
Ferritin level is high at 298 (13-150 ng/l) - had to come off iron tablets.
Iron is 24.6 - can't see a range on results. Vitamin B12 is 854 (197-771)
Folate 17.7 - no range given
Vitamin D is 79.
CRP - 2.8 (0.0'5.0 mg/l)
Waking salivary cortisone in October 2024 results is 35.7 (not sure of range here?)
Thank you 😊

Well, there's not much to interpret, is there. Your FT4 is very low, which is to be expected given that you don't take any. Your TSH is not as low as I would have expected given your dose. But your FT3 doesn't look right to me, and I'm wondering if maybe, the day before the test you should split your dose more evenly. When your total dose is 45 mcg T3, taking just 5 mcg ten hours before the blood draw is going to give you a false low FT3. But, that's just my opinion, not necessarily right. And it does rather sound as if you're under-medicated, given your symptoms.
Was your CRP tested at the same time as the ferritin? The two should always be tested together.
Your other nutrients look good but we do need the ranges to be sure.
No chance of interpreting that cortisol result without a range, I'm afraid.
I have tried many combinations on T4, I always have a high T4 (21.0) on 100 either TSH of 4.8.I tried adding 25mcg T4, T4 went to 22. TSH about 0.89 ish, T3 stayed the same on either dose at around 3.1.
I have tried T4/T3 combo, felt rubbish.
I am really trying T3 only and feel hopeful yet fed up!
