Hi Update on my last question on weight loss. Got the results of blood tests from specialist. Now tsh.9.52 free t4 10.0and free t3 3.7 endo has said to increase to 25 liothyronine and keep same levothyroxine at 150. So increase of 5 liothyronine in morning. Are 5mcg liothyronine easy to get as I already have 10s which were hard enough.

Which range are these results? 5mcg T3 is available but expensive so if you have 10mcg then split those or better still 20mcg and split... though not an option if issued capsules
Using your last lab ranges...
Free T4 (fT4) 10 pmol/L (9 - 19.1) 9.9%
Free T3 (fT3) 3.7 pmol/L (2.4 - 6) 36.1%
I have been issued capsules they were changed. I am concerned as to why really I need to increase. Are the capsules really as good as tablets?
I've been using Roma and I find them ok but I don't split my dose as that doesn't work for me, as for cost saving they'd be better off issuing you with 20mcg tablets!
But your real issue is you just aren't on enough of either or you are having absorption issues, what sort of weight are you?
For me fT4 that low I'd be feeling tragic, is your Endo thinking you will end up on T3 only?
They changed me from capsules to tablets I have a feeling it's to do with the change to capsules as my tests were good before this. Just also seen the doctors have changed the endo request from tablets to capsules. I dont think this will make any difference.
I am now confused. She said if I increased weight she would put the levothyroxine up. Instead with the latest results she has increased the liothyronine instead to 25 levothyroxine stayed at 150. My tsh changed to 9.52 from around 7.

I get 20mcg T3 from Thybon Henning (lactose free) they snap into 4 super easy.

Are you still taking Roma capsules for T3
Significant number of patients find capsules don’t work as well as tablets
They aren’t necessarily cheaper either (depending on dose and how you split)
Current prices capsules v tablets

Are you taking vitamin D supplement as tablets or gels?
Or mouth spray
Vitamin D supplements that are tablets or gels need to be at least 4 hours away from levothyroxine
Which brand of levothyroxine are you taking
Have you been tested for coeliac disease, SIBO and H Pylori
Vitamin d tablets it was 116 so she told me to reduce vit d.
Vitamin D result presumably 116nmol
Generally we recommend on here to aim to maintain vitamin D levels between 80-125nmol
Web links about taking important cofactors - magnesium and Vit K2-MK7
Magnesium best taken in the afternoon or evening, but must be four hours away from levothyroxine
