Here are my recent blood results, help appreciated.

Free T4 15.5 range 10.0-18.7

TSH 1.23 range 0.38-5.50

Free T3 5.3 range 3.5-6.5

Serum folate 21.5 range 5.4

Iron 14 range 9-30

Transferrin 2.40 range 2.5-3.8

TIBC 60 range 45-81

Transferrin saturation 22 range 15-50

Ferritin 168 range 10-291

Vit d 65.1

B12 595 range 211-911

Have I any need for t3 I’m I converting ok?

I take 212mcg of aristo and cut my tablets. I’ve been on this dose a while. I do get heart palps and felt faint but looking at my iron I’m not surprised.

I feel tired, body aches going through hormonal changes.

my body just seems to want more and more Levo, stupid question why?

I take all my vits as recommend on here and space everything correctly, including Levo.

bloods done at 9.20 as I could not get to bloods sooner, never any appointments.

thank you for any replies I appreciate it. :)

TSH 1.23 mIU/L (0.38 - 5.5) 16.6%

Free T4 (fT4) 15.5 pmol/L (10 - 18.7) 63.2%

Free T3 (fT3) 5.3 pmol/L (3.5 - 6.5) 60.0%

T4:T3 Ratio 2.925

Vitamin B12 595 nmol/L (211 - 911) 54.9%

Vitamin D 65.1 nmol/L (50 - 200) 10.1%

So you conversion is great but I'm a bit confused as you were experimenting with Roma T3?

You could certainly do with an increase have you tried a higher dose in the past?

Need to boost your B12 to get it to the top of range and your Vit D is terrible ideally aiming for 100-150nmol/L... grassrootshealth.net/projec...

Your iron isn't terrible, are you supplementing as low transferrin suggests you might be?

I’m just on Levo currently.

Yes I take vit d and iron as well as b complex with b12. My vit d has always been this result over many years no matter what I take.

I did feel very faint a few weeks ago so started on a higher iron supplement. 14 is awfully low, I feel better at 17/18 at least.

I wondered if I’d room to take t3 or leave it?

Your transferrin is showing you don't have capacity to uptake any more iron, some find alternate days works better rather than taking more🤷‍♀️ also Vit C is needed for uptake... I've never tried the iron supplements on offer here I have only used heme iron which is much kinder

Magnesium is needed to aid Vit D uptake, I don't do well on tablets and find sublingual B12 and Vit D with K2 far more effective might be worth a try? I take a B Complex and extra B12

I don't think extra T3 is going to help whereas a little more T4 might, have you tried a higher dose?

I take a gentle iron that does not upset my stomach, I struggled with iron and b12 most of my life.

I do sometimes take extra b12 but not everyday. It’s also in my iron supplement by Baldwins. I also take vit c with my iron.

I was on a higher dose of Levo but lowered it a little as felt on edge. But I’m normally more well with a TSH at 1 or less.

When I took t3 my head felt more clear and I miss the clarity, but I was sensitive too it. I’ve not tried Roma yet and I did reduce my Levo just start my Roma.

I can recommend along with many others now that the Three Arrows Heme works a treat.

Sounds like you want to trial Roma... If you add some it is likely going to drop your fT4 even lower and make you feel a bit rubbish after a couple of weeks. You don't really have much head room for adding T3 so I wouldn't suggest more than 2.5mcg but really you just need some more T4 as your conversion is good

how much vitamin D are you taking

Tablets, gels or mouth spray?

Are you also taking any magnesium

I take a tablet currently which is a strong dose, Ive tried sprays and I do alternate.

I have magnesium every evening.

So make sure tablets are at least four hours away from levothyroxine

Take tablets with high fat foods to improve absorption
