hi.

Firstly, whenever bloods taken in Australia, it’s every test, from T3/4/TSH and all vitamins etc.

With that said, and I had total thyroidectomy plus RAI after papillary cancer.

Endo has me on 125 Eltroxin, keeping me low TSH.

He says this is best after thyroid cancer.

Feeling no energy and 2 other GP say too high dose, Too low dose.

I will stay with the endocrinologist advice for now.

but one of the GP said don’t take added calcium. My calcium isn’t low anyway. But she says calcium can really cause trouble. Kidney stones, depression.

Having iron infusion next week. Lucky cos there is world shortage of iron and saline.

Let’s hope that builds up my iron levels and general energy and sence of wellbeing,

What a roller coaster we hv to ride with thyroid issues.

Don't we just. I was on twice yearly Prolia injections for 6 years with no issues. On moving back to the UK my Doctors surgery said "we don't do injections " but didn't suggest any alternatives.

Thanks to that I have the 6 compression fractures of my spine which the hospital called

Rebound Fractures due directly to stopping the injections. Plus I lost an inch in height.
