I’m on 50 mcg T4 and 2x 5 mcg T3. I’m on holiday in Cyprus and it’s baking hot! My problem is,everyone else is walking around looking quite normal, no excessive sweating, but once I’m out in the sun walking around my face goes crimson red and I have sweat pouring down my face to the point that my fringe looks like I’ve just come out of the shower. I’ve never had a problem with sweating (I’m 68) but I can’t walk about in this heat as I look and feel a mess when I venture out. Is this thyroid related and has anyone else experienced it? I’d be grateful for any help.

Yes I suffer very badly with excess sweating from scalp and head and it happens no matter what dose of medication I am on.
It is called Hyperhidrosis I think and it makes life miserable in the warm months of the year. I look like I have just had a shower or come out of the pool. Very embarrassing! I now buy a special solution on amazon that I use on my head face and neck and after a couple of applications I don't sweat there for about a week and then have to re apply which I do overnight and shower in the morning.
The product is called -
Perspi-Guard Maximum Strength Antiperspirant Spray 50ml -
