Has anyone else experienced problems using ..Specifically ,Serenity,
Progesterone cream?
I’ve tried countless times..after just a few days of using the minutest amount..a PINCH spoon...I get problems..faster heart beat...other things..just feel less and less good..feels as though my thyroid is worsened with the cream...
When I first started progesterone cream I had fast heart rate. As time went on and I got used to it my heart rate went back to normal. I think it's a bit like thyroid hormone and your body gets a bit excited to get some. I was severely deficient. It supports your adrenals and your thyroid so that could be why the initial effects.
I get blood tests every 6 months to keep an eye on levels and to check ratio. When I started levels were higher and my estrogen also tested higher but this is a normal reaction. My levels have gone down now but I only went through menopause at 61. The bleeding finally stopped but my levels are still higher than menopausal levels. I've never had a hot flush or any menopause symptoms. Can't think of any negative effects.
Iv been using serenity for few years no problem. You may just be sensitive to it. We're you tested as low in progesterone you may not need it, personally I always test before messing with hormones as can make things much worse. Vitamins are mainly wee'd out but hormones can have a knock on effect x
I asked my GP to test progesterone estrogen and testosterone, after menopause I am scraping the bottom on all 3. I was estrogen dominant so started using low level progesterone cream. I am hoping to find a good bio identical specialist as drs don't know much about it other than standard HRT and I don't know enough myself to do it really.
Yes I have a friend who goes there, I am in France for the foreseeable future but Im sure i will find one here eventually, I also need one with good English as my french is good but not for medical stuff
