Is it possible to cut Erfa Thyroid in quarters?

Hi I've been on erfa for a few years now. I am on 3.5 grains. My bloods show up as being under replaced high TSH but when I try to increase my dose I get all the symptoms of being hyperthyroid. Can anyone help me to understand what's going on please? I'm considering switching to a combo of levo and erfa

Good morning, I have been taking thyroid erfa for more than a year now. It has helped a lot. Higher body temperature, higher pulse, no more constipation, no more cold chills, very good free T3 levels (5+), no more heart palpitations.

I was recently prescribed two doses of 5mcg Liothyronine on top of my Erfa Thyroid (90 mcg in the morning and 60 in the afternoon). I find it very difficult to go without food for long enough to squeeze in my second dose of Erfa in the afternoon.

Hello everyone, I'm looking for advice on dosing - switching from levothyroxine 75mcg to NDT (most probably ERFA or Thyroid S) but I've been advised by pennyannie that ERFA might be best as I have hashimotos. So what should I aim to be on with NDT?

Hello, I hope you can give me some pointers on my test results. I had been on ERFA in the past but my reverse T3 was high as was my cortisol. I’m now on a grain and a half of ERFA daily along with 20mcg of T3. I left 15 hours in between my last dose and drawing blood. I’m feeling a little better

Hi there! Has anyone ever accidentally taken their thyroid medication with something they shouldn't? If so, can I take another dose on an empty stomach later today? I usually take two doses spaced about 8-10 hours apart. Thanks so much for your help!

Hi Is a GP able to prescribe either of the above on NHS if patient cannot tolerate Levothyroxine ? Have found a private GP who would prescribe but I would have to self fund for life and I’m not sure I can afford to 😔

Hi Folks.Would people say that ERFA has higher percentages of T4 and T3 than in Thyroid S generally? I am presuming it's purer as there are less binders, fillers and chemicals in the ERFA.
