I have Hepatitis E. Ihad beenn feeling so very fatigued for a couple of weeks. I went to the GP and had bloods taken, The very next morning I was sent to hospital with deranged liver function test results . The ALT and ALP were up in the 900 plus mark 733 respectively I think.

It is released predominantly by injured hepatocytes (cells of the liver), making it usually more prone to be seen in hepatitis. PBC is primarily a disease of the bile duct cells (biliary epithelial cells). The ALT can also be elevated in overlap as well as Urso non responders.

It show nothing but Hepatitis C with low viral load... So I did a hepatitis c treatment January 2024. Till April I was clean of the virus .. 3 months later im still clean. After end of hepatitis treatment I had one treatment for optic neuritis with high dose corticosteroids.

My hospital are now introducing an online service and from that I noticed a request for my blood to be checked for - hepatitis b surface antibody and antigen and hepatitis c virus antibody. I'm not sure why, would anyone have an idea? It wasn't mentioned to me during my appointment. Thank you

I contracted Hepatitis A in 2020, undiagnosed for 2 months. Six months later I was told I had NALD and last year I was sent for ultrasound scans and blood tests to check for cancer. In March this year, I was told I had Stage 4 Fibrosis of the liver.

I also have NAFLD and contracted Hepatitis A in December 2019, which seems to be the cause of my liver problems. I[i] have rung my Gast. Cons. office every week, left msgs to ask for results with no effect to date.

Has anyone in the UK been diagnosed with HSV-1 Hepatitis? I've had an two week stay in hospital. Diagnosed with Accute Hepatitis. I have been tested for all the obvious viruses which cause Hepatitis, all with negative results. Ultrasound & CT's of the liver, pancreas & gall bladder, all clear.

Diagnosed with cirrhosis in2022 from hepatitis C. Got treatment for the hepatitis and cured. Now it’s every 6 months of scans and bloodwork with is always said to be stable. This month the scan showed severe enlarged spleen most likely due to increased portal hypertension. Went from 1 to1.3cm.

Within weeks of coming of the steroids my levels did rise and again my liver became inflamed, I’ve now been diagnosed with Autoimmune hepatitis and again I find myself on a steroid cause and soon to be introduced to immune suppressant drug.

Although I have severe copd ,my rheaumy specialists team were reluctant to give me Adalimumab fear of chest infections ,but have now give it the go ahead the firt lot will be delivered tomorrow wondering if anyone else uses this medication who has copd, if so has it affected there chest

I am going to Thailand for Xmas and am booked in to get the hepatitis A, hep B, tetanus and typhoid jab. Does anyone know if it is safe for me to get these jabs? I’ve just read that I should avoid live vaccinations while on Nariparib….

There are some research regarding GLP1 agnostic helps with Parkinson's. There are a couple of trials in progress as well such as exenatide and lixisenatide. I came across this supplement for GLP1. in addition I have had no Hepatitis conditions or ever done intravenous drugs. What are the chances that the ultrasound was a mistake?
