These are my test results- seems I could do with vit D, folate and iron supplements?
Any advice and suggested supplements please?
Thank you!

Related to your need of iron, ferritin and folate increases I absolutely love the inexpensive formula by Garden of Life made up from fruits and veggies with lots of healthy additions to build up the above areas. It's called Vitamin Code and supplies 22 mg of iron taken once a day, one capsule. I've shared before, but my ferritin level moved from the 20's to the 80's in 3 months (however I have hemochromatosis which would cause me to add more quickly).
Thank you Rouser, I will look at that!
Vitamin D is too low. Aiming to improve to at least 80nmol and around 100nmol may be better .
Vitamin D mouth spray by Better You is good as avoids poor gut function.
Suggest you supplement 1000iu for 2-3 months and retest. It's trial and error what dose each person needs.
Once you Improve level, very likely you will need on going maintenance dose to keep it there. Retesting twice yearly via vitamindtest.org.uk

Do NOT supplement any vitamin K if you take any blood thinning medication

Folate is low. You might benefit from supplementing a daily vitamin B complex, one with folate in not folic acid
B vitamins best taken in the morning after breakfast
If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 3-5 days before any blood tests, as biotin can falsely affect test results

Ferritin is low. Eating liver or liver pate once a week, or other iron rich foods should help improve
Only add one supplement at a time and wait at least ten days to assess reaction.
You could perhaps do with small dose increase in Levothyroxine. Especially once vitamins improve
Thank you for taking the time to look through my results SlowDragon.
I am in the process of looking at my supplements as I already take a truefood multivitamin and algae omega 3 with vit D.
Do you know why B12 levels might be good whilst folate and iron are lower in range? I work hard with my diet so I am a bit confused.
The general advice for folate seems to be to take b12 with it - and the % of RDA are much higher for B12 than folate but I don’t need more b12 by the look of it??
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Did you ever get high antibodies test results?
Do you know if you have Hashimoto's
If you ever had high antibodies then cause is Hashimoto's
Reason it's important is that iodine (in most multivitamins) is NOT recommended for anyone with Hashimoto's

So you might want to stop multivitamins. Generally cheap ingredients and only for the worried well, not anyone with actual deficiency
Generally on here we recommend just supplementing what you need separately
vitamin D
Magnesium
Vitamin K2 Mk7
Good quality daily vitamin B complex
Ferritin. Never supplement iron unless you have had full iron panel showing low levels. We can have low ferritin but high iron
Just eating iron rich foods, alongside vitamin C (eg orange juice) should help improve ferritin
Vitamins are often low when hypothyroid as gut function is affected and low stomach acid is very common
It's not what we eat, but how much we can absorb
Low stomach acid can be common an issue

Gluten intolerance is extremely common with Hashimoto's too
