I’d like to ask about the finger prick home tests that Blue Horizon offers. How are they able to check all of the below markers with such a small blood sample? I’m aware that containers are super small and they claim to be testing a lot:
Inclusions: TSH, FT4, FT3, TT4, Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies, Thyroglobulin Antibodies, Ferritin, Folate, Active Vitamin B12, C Reactive Protein & Vitamin D (25-OH), Cortisol, Magnesium

Important to only do test early in week and post back immediately
Recommended that all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)
If on T3 ….day before test split T3 as 2 or 3 smaller doses spread through the day, with last dose approximately 8-12 hours before test
