I started with Vitabay drops, then Vitabay Tablets. Both were discontinued, so I moved on to Vegavero capsules. Now they seem to be unavailable.
I was told I needed the all trans form (can't remember what that means!). Can anyone recommend anything with not too many nasties and preferably not deadly expensive?
I like my Doctors Best capsules of vitamin D so ideally not looking for a combination.
Thanks

Oh heck. Well I can’t offer any help on that as I am on a combo and it seems to keep me about right. I would say all the vitamin advice I have received from SlowDragon and SeasideSusie was about quality and bioavailability so that would be the thing to look for. If you do a search on Vitamin D and K2 in the search bar it will throw up on topic posts that might be worth a read or you could do a member search on SlowDragon and SeasideSusie and have a look at relies on their profiles. There are always lots of links from replies. Unless someone is able to advise on another source this might be the way to go to select an alternative K2.
I use a liquid transdermal combination Vitamin A/K/D made by the Forefront Health Company, which is based in the United States. The trans or transdermal form means that it is applied and absorbed by the skin. I am sure that if you contact the company, they will ship overseas.
You say you like Dr's Best vitamin D, so why not give Dr's Best vit K2 Mk7 a try? They are gluten and soy free and come in two different strengths so you can match to the strength of vit D you're taking. I've been using these for years and not had a problem with them. Just a suggestion as you already know the brand.
I take Vitamaze K2 Tropfen liquid drops and this is the "all trans "form you are referring to. You can order via the internet with Sensilab, a Slovenian company.
